Journey Itinerary

Saturday - 05/10/2024

On Saturday we will leave Crewe heading north along the West Coast Main Line to Carstairs. From there we will visit the City Union line, Glasgow Queen Street (High Level & Low Level), the Sunnyside branch, Lanark, the Edinburgh Suburban Line and North Berwick before arriving in Edinburgh Waverley for an overnight stop.

Sunday - 06/10/2024

On Sunday we will depart Edinburgh Waverley and head initially to Tweedbank. From Tweedbank we will travel via the Forth Bridge and Dunfermline on to the newly opened Levenmouth branch to the town of Leven. After leaving Leven we will traverse the Fife Coast to Dunfermline for a short break. From Dunfermline we will travel via the Alloa branch to Stirling then via Larbert, Cumbernauld, Mossend and Carstairs. The train then continues south setting down as outward and arriving back in Crewe mid-evening.
