Journey Itinerary
Saturday - 05/10/2024
On Saturday we will leave Crewe heading north along the West Coast Main Line to Carstairs. From there we will visit the City Union line, Glasgow Queen Street (High Level & Low Level), the Sunnyside branch, Lanark, the Edinburgh Suburban Line before arriving in Edinburgh Waverley for an overnight stop. For those who may not wish to seek overnight accommodation in Edinburgh, you may wish to consider continuing by service train to Galashiels where we will be picking up passengers at approx 09:00 on Sunday 06 October for you return journey.

Sunday - 06/10/2024
On Sunday we will depart Edinburgh Waverley then stopping briefly at Galashiels for some passengers to re-board. Then from Tweedbank we will travel via the Forth Bridge and Dunfermline on to the newly opened Levenmouth branch to the town of Leven. After leaving Leven we will traverse the Fife Coast to Dunfermline for a short break. From Dunfermline we will travel via the Alloa branch to Stirling then via Larbert, Cumbernauld, Mossend and Carstairs. The train then continues south setting down as outward and arriving back in Crewe mid-evening.
